About GreenPlumbers USA

GreenPlumbers LogoGreenPlumbers is a global brand formed by the Master Plumbers & Mechanical Services Association (MPMSAA) in Australia in 2000, as a result of the severe drought that continues in that country today. The GreenPlumbers curriculum was developed in conjunction with RMIT University (Melbourne) and the Australian Greenhouse Gas Office.

Onni, Inc. dba GreenPlumbers USA is the contractual arm of Green Invest and MPMSAA in the United States, Canada and Mexico.  Onni, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Stephen and Megan Lehtonen.

Goals and Expectations

GreenPlumbers USA vision is to be the most recognized and trusted source of consumer water and energy conservation products and services in North America.  GreenPlumbers USA will train, equip, and provide an army of knowledgeable green plumbers and contractors across North America, delivering conservation products and services to consumers and businesses.

GreenPlumbers USA will work with local and state jurisdictions, utilities, and water agencies to present training workshops across the nation. The training consists of a five-part accreditation in environmental and technical issues including Climate Care, Caring For Our Water, Solar Hot Water, Water Efficient Technologies, and Inspection Report Service.  In addition, five elective credential courses will be added in 2009.
